LXL LLP Energy Handbook 2019

Previously, mainly international law lawyers practicing externally were interested in sanctions, but after major individual countries started taking the lead in imposing extraterritorial unilateral sanctions, it became necessary for in-house lawyers and consultants to become proficient in the laws and regulations of individual countries focused on imposing punitive measures on countries which play a significant role in the oil and gas sector.

This handbook seeks to give a brief on the evolution of sanctions which are prevalent in this current day with special reference to the two hottest countries being targeted, Iran and Russia.
